Oak on the HillI needed a walk. Badly. So I threw some clothes on, grabbed my coat and my ipod, slipped into my tattered old shoes, and set out. I figured I'd head up to the hill about a half mile away. I needed a good place to ponder some personal stuff, and the hill's the best place I could walk to in the half-hour I was allowed out. So I made my way there, listening to the Mescaleros and the Beatles and some of the Clash's more mellow work and pondering, just as I intended. On Beauty, Life, and DeathAt the Grey Gate, by Yours Truly It was a grey day. The endless fields of sky lay hidden behind a veil of silvery white; a veil only a scant few shades from the color of ashes. On this day, is seemed, Mother Sun had seen fit to wean us of her divine, life-giving nectar that we so quaintly know as sunlight. Gazing into the infinite folds of that vast woolen blanket above, one was pervaded by a sense of heartbreaking aloneness. - Favourite poet or writer: I\'m gonna have to say Kurt Vonnegut.
- Favourite photographer: Same as the art thing. Although I rather like Ansel Adams...
- Favourite style of art: Favorite style? Style of what? Dress? Well, of course I\'d have to say my own, for that one.
- Operating System: Something that works consistently (leaving out Windows) and is easy to get games for (sorry, Mac)
- MP3 player of choice: iPod, of course.
- Shell of choice: Crab.
- Wallpaper of choice: Purple, with lots of little dancing imps on it. Oh, and it has to be peeling and faded.
- Skin of choice: Dead baby.
- Favourite game: Final Fantasy X, probably. Only game ever to make me cry.
- Favourite gaming platform: Xbox 360, despite the fact that it may fry itself and become a $400 paperweight at any given moment.
- Favourite cartoon character: Brock Sampson, the only parody character cooler than the guy he was based on.
- Personal Quote: It\'s in my quote signature, dude. I\'m not about to type it twice :P
- Tools of the Trade: A nice, inky pen and some paper.
